We welcome you to the Syracuse University Los Angeles Professional Programs website. Now that we have firmly established our SULA Center, we want to reach out and include you in our Los Angeles based Professional Programs initiative. These courses and workshops are designed for anyone in our community who is interested in developing a new skill or taking a hobby to a new level. These classes are taught in the evenings and on weekends by industry professionals.

This lively, fun one day workshop is packed with information and inspiration! David and Julie will lay out the process of devising, developing and executing your ideas for a television series. You’ll learn where ideas come from, how to nurture your ideas into a viable template for an ongoing show, where the business is right now and where it’s headed. They will also explore the creative options for showcasing your finished work.

In their fun and concentrated workshop, David & Julie Chambers will help you start to write your own original TV or web series.
The SULA Center has offices and classrooms in Sherman Oaks and houses University personnel in Engagement, Admissions, Development and, of course, the Los Angeles Semester program. The SULA Semester program is a one semester career oriented program that provides juniors and seniors from Syracuse University with a unique opportunity to take a full complement of entertainment industry related academic courses while working part time as interns at a vast array of media companies.
